Head Chef Joe's culinary journey began when he moved to the Lake District at a young age, igniting a passion for the region's unique ingredients and rich culinary heritage. Drawn to the world of fine dining, he embarked on a classical training program, meticulously honing his skills before steadily working his way up through the ranks of esteemed kitchens.

How to find us

Billy’s Barr and Restaurant has ten parking spaces outside, which we welcome diners to use. If our car park is full, there is a pay and display car park in Hawkshead village that is just down the road from Billy’s.
